
Holly holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching from The Evergreen State College and is a certified K-12 teacher in the State of Washington. She taught elementary school Performing Arts and high school English and Drama for several years, and was an Artist in the Schools doing theatre and music over 14 years and 105 residencies in Washington, Nevada, Alaska and Oregon.
In Florida from 1999-2002 she wrote and performed two original musicals for elementary school audiences for The Southwest Florida Water Management District and various Hillsborough County water agencies, educating children in 58 schools about water quality and water conservation. In Olympia from 2000-2002, she did the same for the City of Olympia Water Resources Program in 17 schools with two original musicals about groundwater.
Holly has seen firsthand the power of teaching critical issues through the arts, and is eager to do more. Collaborations have figured in her work so far, and are definitely encouraged.
