For many years, Holly has been an activist for peace and justice, working with others in organizations concerned about the welfare of life on earth and the future of the planet itself. A founding member of safe energy groups in Florida and Washington State, she has traveled across the country, Canada, and the UK creating and performing songs and sometimes plays for worthy causes, rallies, marches, and conferences.

A longtime proponent of safe energy, Holly educates and enlightens on the continuing menace of nuclear power and weaponry. Among other organizations with which she works is the Global Network against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space, on whose website her satirical song lyrics for “Planning a War in Space” are featured. Her songs range from educational to humorous, and include scientific topics like fuel from human poop to the dangers of plutonium-powered space probes.
